This Is My Story - Zane Norris

Easter Sunday. A day billions of people across the world celebrate Jesus overcoming death. Yesterday at Vertical Chapel, Zane shared his testimony about his battle of overcoming depression and suicide. It is not uncommon to be someone or know someone who wrestles with this stuff. I've been that someone. I've also lost friends to suicide. Our kids have had classmates take their own lives. It’s tragic and heartbreaking but I know how people end up in a place of depression feeling hopeless, internally struggling alone. If you need a moment of encouragement watch Zane’s story about death to life in Christ below.

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicide please talk to someone. If you’re more comfortable talking to someone anonymously call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255 and let them help. Don’t believe the lies that you are worthless, alone, and nobody cares because that's all they are...LIES.

Matthew 28: 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
